These changes are to ensure that when you send from your webmail account the email will display the correct sender details.

If you are using a mail client such as Outlook, its settings will have a bearing on the mail in your webmail inbox. Mail that has already been received by your mail client will not show in your webmail inbox unless the client is set to leave a copy of messages on the server.

Furthermore items of mail you send from your webmail will not be displayed in your mail clients sent items box, mail clients will only store information on messages it handles directly.
