FTP

File Transfer Protocol or FTP is the method whereby data can be transferred to the server for display on your website; this is managed by an FTP client such as FileZilla.

To connect to your site via FTP you will need your site username and password which were provided to you when your site was registered.

You should only need to use FTP access if you are the web designer in control of the site, any changes that result in the site not working that were made without the consent of Lucas Software will be rectified as charged work.

FTP access is limited and filtered by IP address, you will need to supply this so we can unlock your FTP user. If your IP address changes, you will need to ask for an FTP address reset and let us know what teh new address is.
